I never realized planning and organizing a book tour would take up so much time. Whew! I see why authors usually have an agent do all this for them. Well, I don't have an agent, not yet anyway, so it is all up to me. LOL So I hope everyone will check out my EVENTS page and come visit me at one, or all, of the stops on my Mystery Book Tour that is nearest you.
My husband and I did take some time out and get our vegetable garden in for this year. He did most, if not all, of the work. He is such a sweetie and a keeper. Completely replaced the potting soil in all my vegetable gardens and pots. What a man!
Each year I always plant tomatoes. I love them right off the vine. A salad isn't a salad if there are no tomatoes in it. LOL Plus our resident mullaccan cockatoo, Clyde, enjoys them as well.
This years garden includes a few new items in addition to the tomatoes, zucchini. We planted onion, garlic, green beans, yellow squash (crookneck) as well as golden round squash. Bell peppers, Rosemary, Basil and 2 kinds of potatoes, red and large baking. I have never grown potatoes, but my older sister is visiting me and she has. So I will give it a whirl this year and see what harvests.
Remember to come visit me on the tour!
