Inner Strength

First thing each morning as I it down at my computer, I try and read what is in the news for the day.  It is all so depressing.  If it's not politics it's crime, or even worse.  Then I check my email, my web site and then Facebook.  Then onto looking for either inspiration for my next novel or a good recipe I haven't tried yet.

I have spent so much time these past few months trying to market my books, I haven't been able to just sit down and continue with the story of Catherine. I have thought of new story lines for other books.  LOL  I just write them down in as much detail as I can and get back to them when I can.  I really need to finish the 3 that I already have started.  There are a few fans out there that have been asking me to get it done.  "They can't wait"  They say.  LOL  Which I really appreciate. (I say that with a big smile)  I am glad people are enjoying my stories.  I try to make them realistic and about women who have the inner courage to take control of their own destiny and go for what makes them happy.

We all have that inner strength, how we find it is a mystery.  I'll let you know how if I ever figure it out myself.  LOL

As a wife and mother, I have found inner strength when needed.  It comes up unexpectedly and thankfully.  When my husband was injured and in a wheelchair for a year.  I had the strength and love to handle all that was needed to make things as easy for him as possible.  He fully recovered and is able to walk again.

When my youngest was swimming in a community pool and got her arm stuck in a ridge.  I had the strength to somehow jump over the 3 foot wall separating the bleachers where I as sitting and the pool.  She was impressed, but I don't remember a thing. I just remember my baby needed me right now!

We all have that inner strength.  We all should believe in ourselves, that we can handle anything that is thrown at us and just ride the waves of change the best we can.  Life is a learning process.  Sometimes we learn, sometimes we fail.

As they say, Live life to the fullest, none of us are getting out alive anyway.
