Now that my computer seems to be back and under my control, nothing like getting your web site hacked. I will start my daily blog again. Did you miss reading my nonsense? Probably not, but yet here you are back to read some more of it. LOL
Thank you for following my nonsense.
Today was a Mother / Daughter day. My daughter and I went to see that new movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2”.
It was AWESOME! Even better than the first. The whole audience was laughing through most of the movie. We were repeating some of the funny lines on the way home. Then cracking up all over again. Nia Vardalos, you did it again. Another great movie. It was nice to see that Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson had a hand in this movie again. You can see the typical Tom Hanks types of comedy throughout the movie. Rita Wilson plays a bit part as the wife of another Greek couple. Her on screen husband is played by none other than John Stamos, of course.
Well, I don’t want to ruin the movie anymore for people that are going to go and see it. It is well worth the cost of the theater admission and a bag of popcorn to go see this one. We could, and wanted to, stay and see it again. But there were things to do for this weekend.
Did not realize, or plan, on this weekend being Easter already. How did that happen? I thought it was a few weeks away yet.
Now that my children are older, in their late twenties and living on their own, you would think that I don’t have to do Easter Baskets. Think again. Every year I say I am not going to do any because they are too old. I get all kind of guilt trips and sad puppy eye looks from them.
Yes, I still end up doing Easter Baskets for the large children, but now I get to have adult fun with the baskets. Like condoms and lube and bottles of alcohols. Along with, of course, a chocolate bunny. Got to have a chocolate bunny. And my husband, being the choco-holic that he is. Will always get to the baskets, when the kids are not looking of course, and eat the bunny’s ears off of each and every one. By now it has become a Holiday tradition. I even buy him his own chocolate bunny, but that doesn’t stop him now. He knows the kids will expect their Dad to get their ears.
So whatever your Holiday traditions are, whether they are traveling or playing games with family and friends, or just staying at home and eating the kid’s chocolate bunny ears.
Here’s wishing you a wonderful Easter 2016.
