It’s been a few days since my last blog post. What I thought were allergies turned out to be a nasty head cold.
Anyhow, along with the cold finally taking its departure it is taking some of the writer’s block with it.
I have been once again, working on “Feathers in the Wind” I feel now that if my progress continues as it has for the last couple of days, I will be finished with the first draft copy by the end of the month. We will have to wait and see how that goes.
I needed to do a little research on the Native American that inhabited the Northwest particularly the Shoshoni tribe in northern Utah. They occupied the area around the Bear River area above the Great Salt Lake until around the mid 1800’s before being moved to Fort Hill in Idaho. Some even converted to Mormon. Fascinating reading. One of the characters in “Feathers in the Wind” is a descendant of great chief. So I like to do a little research. Even though I write strictly fiction. It’s always fun to throw in a little history here and there.
Just like in “Gabrielle, lost” I had to do a lot of research for that book. LOL Learned a lot about Italy and its people.
Stay tuned for updates and sneak peeks into my latest novel.
